Welcome to the new Kentucky Career Center brand

Stakeholders of Kentucky’s Department of Workforce Investment:

Through the agencies of the Department of Workforce Investment, we see firsthand the needs of not only those looking to retrain, get more education or find employment, but  we also see the needs of employers who require a well-trained, well-educated workforce. With that in mind the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board has led the way in developing a new brand for the department that will take us to a new level in customer service as well as service to the Commonwealth.  Our goal is to better reflect our commitment to job training and education in the 21st century.

We want to introduce you to The Kentucky Career Center brand and ask you to take a positive, proactive approach in helping roll out the branding campaign.

The first step in this process is to roll out the Brand Promise:

As a team of experts, we are dedicated to providing Kentucky employers with a qualified, skilled workforce and the people of Kentucky with career, job training and educational opportunities.

With the unique ability to connect employees and employers through the combined efforts of state and local partners, we will become a valuable, competitive and best-in-class asset in the growth of our regional and national economy.

By guiding, empowering and inspiring our customers, we will continue our mission to create success stories across the Commonwealth.

Focusing on the ideas of guidance and growth, its bold simplicity will serve as a reflection of whom we are and who we strive to become.  Kentucky Career Center is where growth begins.

Through initiatives such as Partners for Success, the Workforce Development Academy and the One-Stop certification process we are working to fulfill the brand promise.

We realize anything new can be a bit scary at times, but let me assure you this change will create positive results in the way our agency looks to our customer base and their understanding of our services while bringing our offices together under one umbrella. Our hope is to create a brand that will ultimately be instantly recognizable to all of our stakeholders.

This will not be an overnight process. It will take weeks and months to get it into place and fully implemented. Many months of work have already taken place to get us to the point of being able to roll this out is a systematic way.

As we go through this transition, we will keep you apprised of changes you will need to know in order to perform your jobs to the best of your abilities.

Thank you for your support of this initiative and for the dedication you continue to have in helping the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Sincerely,
